Sue's Casserole (Jennifer Clark)

1 lb ground beef

1 clove garlic

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp sugar

3-8 oz cans tomato sauce

1-6 oz can tomato paste

1-4 oz pkg cream cheese, softened

1 c sour cream or plain yogurt

1-8 oz pkg noodles (curly)Check Spelling

1 c shredded cheese


1. Brown ground meat in a large skillet. Drain all excess fat.


2. Add garlic, salt, pepper, sugar, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Mix well and bring to boil, stirring frequently.


3. Reduce heat and summer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.


4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and sour cream.


5. Cook noodles and drain.


6. Remove meat sauce from heat. Carefully stir in cream cheese and sour cream mixture. Toss in cooked noodles.


7. Pour contents into a large rectangular baking dish or split into 2 dishes if necessary. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.


8. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly.
