This recipe has been a staple at my house. It has never come out wrong and it's easy for my kids to make because the measurements aren't complicated. They often make it without the chocolate chips and just eat the dough.
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
Cream together and add:
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 c oats
1 pkg chocolate chips
Mix that together, then add:
2 c. flour
1 tsp baking soda
Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes. Best if eaten warm...:)
