Snickerdoodles

1 1/2 c. sugar

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened

1/2 c. shortening

2 eggs


2 3/4 c. flour

2 tsp. cream of tartar

1 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp salt


cinnamon/sugar mixture

1/4 c. sugar

2 tbsp cinnamon




Cream together wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Make about 1 tbsp.of dough into a ball. Roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture until completely covered. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes.
