Cool Whip Frosting (Jennifer Clark)

1 c milk

1-8 oz Cool Whip

1 pkg pudding

Mix well and frost cake. Good on deep chocolate cake.

So, I have been wanting to do a family cookbook for a long time (which I'm sure you are all aware of). After moving to TX I started a personal blog to keep in touch with all the people we moved away from. One night while trying to decided what to do for dinner, I had a brilliant idea....start a family recipe blog!!! I was looking at a friend's family blog and thought, "This is a great idea!!! I'll start it and put in all the recipes I've been gathering. I'll send out the link for Christmas or maybe Mother's Day (if I can get enough done) and then we can ALL add to it!"

I know our tastes change over the years, just like our families. I am in the Ramen noodles and grilled cheese sandwhich phase of life, while some of you are in the roasted lamb with cranberry sauce phase. I just wanted to have a place I can go and have recipes that have been enjoyed by people I love, what ever their phase of life is. This might be one way to keep our family history alive..Grandma Kocherhans' carmel and toffee, my Dad's Norweigan pancakes...you get the point. You are all related to me in one way or another, so I hope you will enjoy this blog and use it often.
