Caramel Dumplings (Jennifer Clark)

Dumpling:

5 c Bisquick

6 tbsp sugar

2 tsp vanilla

enough milk for a medium consistency batter


Mix together in bowl.



Sauce:

5 c brown sugar

8 c water


Boil all ingredients for sauce. Remove from heat. Add dumpling mixture by spoonfuls on top of sauce mixture. Cover and simmer or steam for 15 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
