Brownie Pudding (Jennifer Clark)

1 c sifted flour

3/4 c granulated sugar

2 tbsp cocoa

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 c milk

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tsp vanilla

3/4-1 c chopped nuts

3/4 c brown sugar

1/4 c cocoa

1 3/4 c hot water


Preheat oven to 350. Sift together the first 5 ingredients. Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 x 2" baking pan. Mix together brown sugar and 1/4 c cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Pour the hot water over the top of brownies. Bake at 350 about 45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
