Grandma Kocherhans' Caramel (Lee Pratt)

1 c white sugar

1 c brown sugar

1 c white corn syrup

1 c butter

1 can sweetened condensed milk

a pinch of salt


Mix and cook over medium heat, stirring often to firm ball stage. Add 2 tsp vanilla and chopped walnuts if desired. Pour into buttered pin tins.
