Gay-Gay's poppy seed bread

2 c sugar
4 eggs
1 can sego milk
1/2 bottle poppy seeds
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c oil
3 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
Cream sugar and eggs, add oil; mix well. Combine dry ingredients. Add alternately dry ingredients and milk to eggs mixture, mix well. Add seeds and vanilla, mix well. Bake at 325 for 30 min, check. Bake for 10 more minutes. Test with a toothpick. Wrap in plastic wrap when cool.
