2 c whipping cream
4 tsp butter or margarine
1/2 tsp pepper
pinch of nutmeg
1/2 c Parmesan cheese, shredded
*additional Parmesan for serving
2 tsp chopped fresh parsley (opt)
In a large skillet combine the whipping cream and the butter. Season with pepper and nutmeg. Cook over medium-low heat until the sauce begins to thicken, stirring frequently. Add the Parmesan a little at a time, stirring with a whisk until completely blended.
*This recipe can be halved.*
