Chops and Beans (Jennifer clark)

2 lbs cans of Pork and Beans

1/2 c ketchup

2 bacon slices, browned and crumbled

1/2 c chopped onions, sauteed

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar

4-6 pork chops, seasoned with salt and pepper

2 tsp prepared mustard

1 tbsp brown sugar

1/4 c ketchup

one lemon


Combine beans, 1/2 c ketchup, bacon, onions, Worcestershire sauce and 1/4 c brown sugar in a slow cooker.


Brown chops in skillet. In separate bowl, mix together 2 tsp mustard, 1 tbsp brown sugar, and 1/4 c ketchup. Brush or dip each chop into sauce, then carefully stack into slow cooker. Place a lemon slice on top of each chop. Submerge 3/4 of the way into bean/bacon mixture.


Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
